How long have you been part of the Estateguru team?
I joined Estateguru almost 3 years ago. It took a lot of courage for me to apply, because I was on parental leave with my third kid and my previous work experience was in a company with a completely different background. So you can just imagine my emotions after being selected.
What’s your mission at EG?
I started in another role, but with the quick growth of the company, I was given the opportunity to move on and I now take care of AML and KYC (Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer) related issues. This role challenges me on a daily basis. But I truly have the best leader ever, from whom I literally learn something new every day.
Estateguru’s key values are growth-orientation, boldness, freedom, honesty, determination, and empathy. How do you experience these values in the company?
All the time! I believe that my journey in Estateguru is a good example of these key values too. Estateguru has offered me the opportunity to grow, and believed in and trusted me.
I feel the team’s support every day. At Estateguru there is a strong sense that people matter, not just numbers, or tables, or graphs etc
What do you like most about working at Estateguru?
Oh, it’s hard to tell what I like the most. I think most of all I love the small things like going together to outdoor lunches, I love that people are really listening to you and are interested in how you are doing, cheer you up when you are low and laugh with you when you are happy. I love the freedom to work from anywhere. We work hard, so the company puts a lot of effort into having fun activities and events. We even have a special Fun team for that 😉
Tell us something interesting about yourself. What do you do in your free time? Oh, and we also love their quirks, so what’s yours?
I love to swim + bike + run and yes, you are correct, it is a triathlon 🙂 I’m very stubborn, and if I set my mind to something, I have to get it done. So my first half Ironman (1.9km swim + 90km bike + 21.1km run + smile) was done less than a year after my youngest child was born. So anything is possible! Maybe someday (in a far-far future) the full Ironman will be also in my sports calendar…I know….everyone is getting old in their own weird way 😀 I also love reading, so some crime & thriller books are always on my night table. Oh, and by the way, I’m terrified of heights, but I’ve done a solo parachute jump.
If you could give some advice to people who would like to join Estateguru, what would it be? / Why should exceptional talents join Estateguru?
If you love challenges, you like to push limits, you want to be part of something great…then just join! There are no boring jobs or boring days with us.
