EstateGuru and Estonian Financial Bloggers Unite for Charity

In what is fast becoming a seasonal tradition, EstateGuru will run a festive season charity campaign again in 2018, but this time we’ve added a new twist that should see it generate goodwill on a much larger scale.

The plan is simple and involves the cooperation of some of Estonia’s leading bloggers.

Starting on 4 December and running until the 21st of the same month, we’ll select 5 attractive EstateGuru projects and earmark these as our charity drives.

For investors and borrowers, these projects will run exactly as usual, giving fast access to funds for the borrower and our historically great returns for the investors.

Where the fun part comes in is that EstateGuru will donate an amount equivalent to 0.5% of the total loan value, with the aim of raising at least €5000.

We will give these funds to our three volunteer bloggers to donate to a charity of their choosing. The bloggers we are partnering with are Rahakratt, Tauri Alas(Rahapuu) and Taavi Pertman(Rahafoorum).

They have chosen the following worthy causes: Taavi Pertman and Tauri Alas both support Igavene Heategu, while Rahakratt  has chosen Paita Mind.

You can also help by donating money straight to EstateGuru’s client money account, the details of which you can find here:

According to EstateGuru founder Marek Pärtel, this new initiative feels like a great way to cap what has been a monumental year of change for the Estonian start-up.

“We underwent a major rebranding exercise during the latter part of 2018, developing a new logo and a new website as we gear up for 2019, a year in which we expect to see exponential growth.”

“In keeping with this adventurous ethic, we decided to try something new in our festive season initiative to give something back to those in need.”

We’ll be releasing news around this charity drive regularly both here on the blog and in our social media channels, so make sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
