Your mission:
Estateguru is looking for an experienced DevOps engineer to help to build and grow our partnership with AWS. Estateguru has been elected into AWS startup growth program and would need DevOps with Security to help the company to build the next version of our platform to democratise SMB financing. You will be working closely with our engineering and data team to ensure that our applications are secure and can scale to meet our customers’ demands.
What you will be doing:
- Developing DevOps procedures and specifications;
- Developing, innovating and maintaining cloud infrastructure;
- Being on-call during working hours, monitoring and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure;
- Collaborating with other teams (Back-End, Front-End, Data) on delivering cross-functional features to the cloud product;
- Taking part in shaping the Estateguru platform technical roadmap;
- Monitoring, controlling and planning Infrastructure Costs (Finops);
- Enhancing the company’s IT infrastructure security protocols.
You are the one for us if you:
- Have a BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field;
- Have an expert knowledge in AWS cloud stack ( EC2, networking, load balancing, VPCs, S3, lambdas);
- Have an experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role;
- Have an excellent knowledge of Linux and it’s distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS etc.);
- Have an experience and understanding of CI and build automation, distributed version control (git) and experience with GitOps approach ArgoCD, FluxCD) and GitHub;
- Have knowledge of computer networks and their components;
- Have knowledge of RDBMS-s (Mysql, Postgre), how to set up, configure and backup;
- Have knowledge and experience in managing AWS and Google cloud infrastructure;
- Have an experience comprehensively securing and monitoring AWS infrastructure;
- Have a willingness to learn and explore new technologies;
- Are sufficiently fluent in English so that you can describe problems and solve them in collaboration with others.
Have knowledge in:
- CI/CD systems;
- Java-based tools and technologies, such as Tomcat, Gradle or Maven etc;
- React technologies;
- Kubernetes/EKS;
- In cloud infrastructure management: CloudFormation, Terraform;
- Docker and container, orchestration and registry functionality (ECS);
- Scripting using Python, Go, Bash;
- In modern logging and monitoring: DataDog, Loki, Prometheus, Grafana;
- Logging tools and frameworks such as an ELK stack;
- API integration and messaging systems: RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS products.
