EstateGuru is the leading European marketplace for short-term, property-backed loans. Based in
Tallinn, Estonia, the team has grown rapidly since its foundation in 2013, when a group of Real
Estate and FinTech thought leaders collaborated to change the perception that investing in secured
property loans was a luxury only afforded to the wealthy and well-connected.
Since then, EstateGuru has facilitated more than 550 loans worth nearly €90 million. Over 17,000
investors, from all walks of life and hailing from 45 countries, have earned average returns of 12.3%
by backing property loans in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Spain, and Finland with the UK, Ireland and
Portugal to follow soon.
Due to the large and diversified investor base, with millions of EUR available to lend, our borrowers
can obtain the money they need to realise their plans quickly and on their own terms. Investors can
access pre-vetted and diversified, cross-border investment opportunities with a low barrier to entry
and total transparency.

Due to the growth and expansion of EstateGuru, we now have a vacancy for a Business
Development Manager, German & Austrian Investor Acquisitions (based in Tallinn), fluent
in both German and English

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and lead the strategy and tactical plans for German and Austrian investor
    acquisitions
  • Execute the same against your approved plan
  • Manage and be responsible for reporting on the region's budget and spend metrics, including ROI, IRR and other analysis
  • Grow the community of German investors by sourcing, establishing & nurturing relationships
    with them
  • Create potential German investor databases
  • Approach and develop incoming potential clients, with the view to converting them into
    clients
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with clients (prospect investors, influential bloggers,
    and other potential partners) in the region through open and interactive communication
  • Act as a “go-to” for all things related to German and Austrian clients investing in EstateGuru
  • Drive rlationships by proactively following up with investors to discuss their portfolio and
    future plans
  • Create processes (e.g. FAQs) to answer investor questions in more scalable ways
  • Sponsor, attend and present at meetings, trade shows and conferences to help increase brand awareness and get new leads from Germany
  • Be able to professionally articulate how our investment products work and how we differ to
    other investments
  • Create a brand evangelist/ambassador program that translates our very-high NPS into leads
    and revenue
  • Seek out and discover market and partnership opportunities to drive sales of EstateGuru
    investment products and services
  • Provide business development and market intelligence information for Management and
    Functional Heads
  • Help to define, develop and implement back-end business systems and technologies to maintain a high level of collaboration with various teams and people across the business (including, but not limited to, Investor Relationship Manager, Product and Marketing, Management Board and COO)
  • Create weekly overview and summaries about the activities to Investor Relationship
    Manager, Management board and COO
  • Other tasks agreed with Investor Relationship Manager, Management board or COO
