Assets under management increased 71 percent: the value of the loan portfolio rose to €268 million. In Q2, Estateguru attracted 10 114 new investors. The total number of worldwide investors now stands at 137,000. With their investments in Estateguru, they generated interest payments totalling €5.1 million, compared to €3.4 million in the same quarter last year. The average return on repaid loans was 9.12 per cent.
Marek Pärtel, Co-founder and Chairman of Estateguru, says: “Numbers are important, especially if they have a longer history and meaning to them. In June this year, we celebrated our fifth anniversary in Lithuania, where we’ve financed more than €100M of loans to date. And Lithuania achieved its biggest quarterly loan amounts ever during the second quarter of this year, at more than €5M. Lithuania followed Estonia and Latvia as the third market where Estateguru started to successfully operate in 2017. This is how the journey started. In June this year, Estateguru became a full member of the Association of German Credit Platforms (Verband deutscher Kreditplattformen or VdK), as we witness our industry becoming mainstream all over Europe.
During two weeks at the end of April and the beginning of May, we had our third fundraising campaign on Seedrs. I couldn’t be prouder of having another 1400 equity investors with us who believe in our business model and roadmap. Now more than ever, SMEs across Europe are looking for flexible financing options and reliable partners, who understand the specifics of the real estate business. And more than ever, keeping in mind the current macroeconomic environment, we feel obliged to educate and motivate people to take care of their savings and future plans. I’m happy to invite everyone to take a closer look at our independently audited annual report of 2021 and the freshly launched Knowledge Hub of Estateguru – https://estateguru.co/blog/.”
